Tijuadalgo Expeditions

Tijuadalgo, is an eccentric Solestros whose company embodies the Jones Lifestyle of years past.

He has used his immense wealth and connections to bring the other organizations together with the primary objectives of reclaiming what has been lost and discovering whatever new things may exist, lurking in the untamed frontier.

Tijuadalgo Expeditions is able to offer residents of Crossbones good money for any credible information leading to the recovery of artifacts and knowledge lost in the Big Freeze.

Firewatch Security Group

The Firewatch Security Group are the assembled stragglers of uncounted mercenary companies, professional soldiers, frontiersman, and similarly hardy people.

They are led by 4 warriors of distinct capabilities known as the Sword Saints. Each Saint is a master of combat, tactics, and leadership skills within different combat disciplines.

By sharing information, rank, and accepting warriors of every faith, the Firewatch maintains the border between Civilized territory and the Wasteland. The Firewatch organizes Calls to Arms to deal with incoming or potential threats to the Crossbones.

All members of the Firewatch carry a firearm of some variety.

The Marooners

The Marooners were unfortunate souls trapped at sea by the ice flows of the Big Freeze. Pirates, Fishmongers, Passengers and Mariners of every variety.

Through sheer cunning, skill, and no shortage of blind luck, they survived the most inhospitable conditions in the whole PNW. When the ice finally receded they hurried back to the shores and carved out the foundation of the Crossbones by scuttling their fleet of ragged vessels.

Rallying together under a blood red banner, they dubbed themselves “The Marooners”. They dress themselves with a distinct red color palette to honor their fallen comrades lost to the sea.

Today they are sailors without ships, yearning to return to the sea's bountiful plunder. They apply their considerable skill sets to invention, innovation, and “asset acquisitions” in order to reclaim their lost livelihoods and support the Crossbones.

Teramining Company

The Tera-Mining Company are experts in natural resources, logisticians, and trades people. Despite mass displacement during the Grave Quake, these people found employment wherever they went.

Able to maintain the basic infrastructure of settlements, extract natural resources, and refine them for industrial purposes, they united to form the Tera-Mining Company. The Tera-mining Company is not a soulless machine of consumption and exploitation, according to its own PR department and in-house ethics committees. The reality is that without underhanded tactics their business would struggle to provide a fraction of what it currently provides to the Crossbones. Many newly tapped mines exist on lands previously occupied by farms, wetlands, or riverways, before the Quake.

The company also turns a blind eye to the reputation of many of their customers. Containers bearing the Terramining Logo are popular among local criminal enterprises for smuggling all manner of illicit goods. For some, this is a valuable service in its own right.

The Keepers

The Keepers represent a collection of independent farmers, foragers, woodsmen, and merchants that have endured the Big Freeze.

In order to overcome life in the PNW these people collaborated together, creating an extensive communications network to warn of threats, share resources, and exchange knowledge. In the Crossbones settlement

The Keepers share their collective knowledge of sustainable living, negotiate terms among each of the factions in the Crossbones, and broker information. Honesty, integrity, and a diplomatic attitude are core values among The Keepers.

The Keepers are happy to teach and trade, but take their property and their lifestyle very seriously. If somebody crosses or backstabs the Keepers that knowledge spreads with frightening speed across the Crossbones.

Farshores Investment Group

The Far Shores Investment Bank are people considered “too big to fail”.

Their wealth allowed them to escape the worst of the Quake and endure the Freeze, however they quickly understood that without a robust market they were as good as broke. They reached out to markets beyond the edge of the PNW, offering large investments for steady returns, which they again invested.

Today the Bank has leveraged massive sums of money in Crossbones numerous enterprises. Some of these investments turn over just enough profit to keep the Bank in business as other investments flop.

Without new money however, the Bank's days are numbered and they know it. Auditors are periodically sent out to find new investment opportunities and sign new investors to the Banks portfolio. No matter how large or small a business, the bank is always happy to add to their portfolio for the right return.

Auditors also search for any information regarding old settlement centers of wealth which may yet lie undisturbed. There's good money available to any who might aid the bank in this quest.
